The 3rd Pride Parade in Split was held last Saturday, May 8, 2013, in a peaceful atmosphere, without incidents, allowing the participants – more than 500 of them – to focus, for the first time, on the actual demands of the LGBT community: the right to marriage, and not on riots and police security.

Zelena Akcija Environmental Association (Friends of the Earth Croatia) greeted the suspension of the Ombla Hydropower Plant (Ombla HPP) project. The Croatian Power Company HEP announced on Monday, May 27, 2013, that the EBRD cancelled the loan agreement with HEP to finance the construction of Ombla HPP, a project which Zelena Akcija considers to be extremely harmful.

In Zrinjevac Park in Zagreb on Monday (May 27) where gathered activists  from Association Kontra and Iskorak, as well as public figures and citizens in the "March for marriage equality", where they sought equal protection for the same-sex families that heterosexual families enjoy - the right to marriage and adulterine union.

In Zagreb, as in many cities in Europe, the system of public bicycles in the three-month pilot project is officially put into operation, wich the City of Zagreb is developing in line with its long-term vision of improving bicycle traffic. Citizens of Croatia's capital city have access to a total of 50 bicycles at six locations in the city center.
