The activists of the Civic Alliance distributed fliers and copies of the Law on Free Legal Assistance on June 23 and 24, 2013, in downtown Podgorica, in the effort to inform the citizens about that institute that they can apply for in the offices for free legal assistance that work under the auspices of municipal courts.

The Civic Alliance of Montenegro held, on May 11 at the Book Fair in Podgorica, workshop on the topic “Publishing in the Fields of Human Rights and Rule of Law”. Its stand offered CA's reports but also a number of important publications of other NGOs from Montenegro and the region.

The results of the programme for monitoring of the work of basic courts in Montenegro, implemented by the Civic Alliance under the auspices of the “Monitoring of Public Administration in Montenegro” in November and December 2012, were presented last Friday, February 1, 2013 and show significant progress, in some cases improvement of 40%, and falling number of irregularities.

After the Civic Alliance (CA) warned the Parliament of Montenegro that it shouldn’t repeat last year’s omission, the President of the Parliament Ranko Krivokapić issued, on September 15, 2012, a congratulatory message for the citizens of Montenegro to mark the International Day of Democracy.
