The results of the programme for monitoring of the work of basic courts in Montenegro, implemented by the Civic Alliance under the auspices of the “Monitoring of Public Administration in Montenegro” in November and December 2012, were presented last Friday, February 1, 2013 and show significant progress, in some cases improvement of 40%, and falling number of irregularities.

Several civil society organizations, asked by the H-Alter.org portal to give their assessment on the Draft-Law on Strategic Investments, submitted for adoption last week, in an urgent procedure, comment that it would lead the country into a second round of robber-baron privatization and ensures a shortcut to exploitation of natural wealth and resources of the country.

The Roma Women's Network, a nonpartisan, activist and informal network of 25 Roma women organisations and initiatives in Serbia, expressed its concerns over the smear campaign in Kurir daily directed against the Office of Equality Commissioner of Serbia and Commissioner Nevena Petrušić and demands for her removal from office by a group of people who sign their requests as „Intellectuals“.
