The Anonymous hacker group attacked the website of the Croatian Government, on January 2, 2013 and left the message “Enough Stealing” on its homepage. The media in Croatia assume that the attack was a response of the group to the entry into force of the new Criminal Code which prescribes, among other changes, tougher sanctions for unauthorized access to computers and data....

After the failure of the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) in Dubai, December 3-14, 2012, to reach an agreement on the new International Telecommunications Regulations (ITRs) the civil society groups came forward with a joint post-WCIT statement calling upon states “to recognize the importance of upholding human rights in all spheres, including the Internet”.
