This years EuroGames, the annual multi-sport LGBT sport championship of Europe, took place in Budapest (27.06-01.07.2012) with sport activities ranging from cross-country running in a park on the edge of town to full on swimming, football, volleyball and basketball competitions amongst others.

Today, a protest was held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo that gathered all those who dare thing with their own head and avoided the homophobia infection. While I restricted my own right to free speech for whole ten minutes, I thought about the last ten minutes of silence of all times in an institution that, we have been led to believe, educates intellectuals.

Last Saturday, the March for Peace was organized in Skopje by the “Together for Peace” initiative. The march caused, even during the preparations, a debate in the civil sector, and to some extent in the media, about the issue whether hate-mongers and people who incited to intolerance were welcome to take part in the march.
