The Museum got “occupied” and so what? Over the next seven days, lots of activities are planned to take place in its gray building. We should expect that it will have more life than in the previous several years combined. The invitation to the restoration of life in the museum was sent to the competent officials. Their lives are more important, they kidneys hurt more, their noses leak better... they simply managed to subdue us completely, so why should they come and heat the Museum with us?...

February 8, 2012 -- Last summer, at the start of the Occupy Wall Street movement, one American woman expressed scepticism about a movement led by young, pretty, mostly white middle class people. Where were the other disenfranchised? Where were those who are threatened by that same moving power? What were they complaining about, anyways? For a Bosnian with access to such favourable bank loans, only sky is the limit...

The siege and the murder of Sarajevo with other means, the cultural urbicide, has been going on for almost two decades. That siege proved to be more systemic and more efficient than the siege that we all are familiar with. Culture of the city has been strangled and has fallen with a whimper long time ago.
