First Issue of „Lice v lice“ Magazine Hits the Streets of Skopje

The magazine is the Macedonian edition of the LiceUlice street magazine that first apeared in Belgrade, published by Regional Activism Platform LICEULICE. The Macedonian edition is published by the Centre for Media Activities from Skopje, the Macedonian representative in the regional coalition.

The magazine offers contents dedicated to activism and various efforts to achive progress in society. It is based on the principles of social entrepreneurship and aims to ensure economic and social empowerment of most vulnerable citizens, thus improving the quality of their life.
„Lice v Lice will defeat the prejudice, bad habits, ignorance, discrimination… It will try to create a better society”, Klimentina Ilijevski, editor-in-chief, says in the editorial of the first issue.
The magazine will be published bimonthly and your copy will set you back just 100 Denars. It is sold by representatives of most vulnerable social groups. One half of the selling price goes to the news-boys that sell it, and the other half is invested in the creation of a system that will help the members of vulnerable groups escape the life on streets and make their lives better.
