2nd Drupal Balkan Summit Held in Sarajevo

May 2012 - 13:38 — Dejan GeorgievskiThe 2nd Drupal Balkan Summit, a gathering of members of Drupal communities of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina was held yesterday, May 27, 2012, in Sarajevo. The 60 parcitipants of the Summit were introduced, in seven sessions, with the opportunities offered by this programming platform.

The Summit discussed ways of installation and distribution of Drupal, the use of VoIP over Drupal, efficient business practices using the Drupal Commerce platform, possibilities for work in Drupal in Sweden, the presentation of slovenskenovice.si media portal and the coming Drupala 8 version. This is the second gathering of professionals, enthusiasts and other interested people (the first Drupal Balkan Summit was held last year in Novi Sad, Serbia). This year's gathering, held at the Art Cinema Kriterion, was organized by the BiH Drupal Community, with assistance from Internews BiH, Oneworld SEE and Pauza agency.
