Strategic plan 2010 -2013
At the end of 2009 we look at oneworldsee foundation staff and partners'behavioural change about use of ICTs to understand and to consolidate our learnings. After an intense period of field visits, interviews and a final workshop in December in Sarajevo
we identify our path:
OneWorld Platform for south-east Europe is a functional network and community of organizations, informal and formal groups, associations and individuals that connects local, regional and global initiatives.
It is actively involved, on bases of solidarity, responsibility and transparency, in building a regional and interactive multilingual, proactive and technologically advanced knowledge database.
The founding principles of the community are based on ethics, openness, partner support and protection for human rights, gender equality, minority rights, environmental protection, public domain and sustainable development.
The foundation for the future development of the community is secured by free technology and open contents.
The community confirms its credibility in the civil sector, institutions and media.
The community produces and publishes information, analyses, strategic documents, builds ad hoc coalitions, launches campaigns, educates, advocates and lobbies on behalf of its partners and community members.
The platforms created by the community are creative e-labs on issues related to civil society, technology and public domain.
The community generates and exchanges interactive databases in the areas of activity of civil society organizations. If adequate expertise is lacking regionally, the community attempts to access and implement referential global experiences.
The community advocates introduction and improvement of a system of values in the civil society. Through its products and activities, the network will attempt to introduce the system of values defined in the Vision in the society in general.
