HOPS Wins Award for Action on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights

HOPSMacedonian organisation HOPS - Healthy Options Project Skopje won the 2010 International Award for Action on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights presented by the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and the Human Rights Watch. The Award, highlighting outstanding contributions that decrease vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and protect the rights and dignity of those infected and affected was presented at the 18th International HIV/AIDS Conference in Vienna.

Start of Works in Varšavska - Police Arrests Protesters

Peaceful Protests against Izraeli Raid on Humanitarian Convoy

Ship breaks through the blockadeSeveral hundreds of Turkish, Palestinian and BiH nationals gathered on May 31 in down-town Sarajevo in a peaceful protest against the Izraeli raid on the six-ships in the convoy carrying humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip. The protests gathered mostly university students, who were then joined by citizens of Sarajevo on their procession through Ferhadija and Maršal Tito streets on the way to the BiH Parliament.
