Croatian President Ivo Josipović paid a visit to Serb returnees and Croats that were settled in the region of Zadar, to hear the returnees' complaints about slow and expensive bureaucracy. They also complained that local authorities don't see them as part of the local community.

On the occasion of June 20, the World Refugee Day, the Novi Sad Humanitarian Centre (NSHC) presented the annual award for prominent refugees and IDPS to artist Branka Mraović, refugee from Vrginmost, Croatia, now living in Dobanovci, near Belgrade. Mraović got the award for her courage in overcoming difficulties and challenges of a life as a refugee.
